Every good pirate plunders and pillages. Usually notorious for murders or escapes. Pirates create friends and foes, usually these foes are the government or other pirates. Well this time it's other pirates. The Captain of the Prodigy is after the Ebony who is sailing through the Lorian Sea and attacking, stealing, invading, raiding the city of Bell.
Ebony is at the top of the list when it comes to skilled pirates and captain. The ship, being new, out runs every and any ship sailing after them. The other pirates are chasing after The Ebony to cease the rapidly rising attacks on towns which the Ebony has been creating; and in return over throwing the Ebony and claiming it theres.
Although, on the chase they sail through a hurricane in the Lorian Sea. Who will end up winning? One ship will come out victorious while the defeated ship will founder in an utter chaotic sinking like that of Titanic. Join the crew of Ebony or the crew of the Prodigy and see who will win.

Pirate's Life « Result #3 on Oct 3, 2008, 9:18am »
Based after Pirate's of the Caribbean : Curse of the Black Pearl.
"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me."
A song that has been heard and sang many times, whether you happen to be a pirate or not. It tells the story somewhat about how pirates spend their life. Only thing is, it's mostly wrong.
Now's your chance to find out how the pirates and the people closest to them live their lives. So find your sword and pistol, and make your way to the nearest tavern or inn, and enjoy yourself with a bottle of rum.
"You don't know what this is, do ye? It's Aztec Gold . . ."
Who knew that what seemed an innocuous medallion might send people on a journey of epic proportions? Everyone is familiar with the tale that sends Captain Jack Sparrow searching to regain his ship, the Black Pearl that ends with his regaining it, that brings two unlikely but star-crossed lovers Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner together, and ends with the death of the Captain Jack's nemesis, Hector Barbossa.
But then again, if the dead could walk once, what keeps them from doing so again? And what are these stories of the Flying Dutchman captained by the mythical Davy Jones sailing the Spanish Main...it is mere superstition...isn't it?
But there is more than just debts to supernatural beings to deal with--Lord Cutler Beckett brings the East India Company to the West Indies, but it is not a simple navigational error that brings him to Port Royal. Is it politics, revenge, profit, or just "good business"? Whatever may motivate him motivates many to make decisions and take action. Though the Royal Navy, and it's commander in Port Royal, Commodore James Norrington, may scoff at the idea that the Company could supplant them...there is no doubt that things are starting to get a mite crowded in the Caribbean.
"The world is shrinking, the blank edges of the map filled in..."
And indeed, it is. Jack Sparrow is not the only one who must find his way, his place in this new world. Perhaps affected greater than him are the hundreds of men and women who also live in the Caribbean--sailors, soldiers, artisans, poets, nobility, beggars, thieves, and pirates.
Starting before Dead Man's Chest and adopting characters from all three movies, Aztec Gold rewrites the sequels--borrowing plots and events, but adding it's own twist to the story with the addition of original characters and more plots than even At World's End could boast. After Curse of the Black Pearl, nothing is set in stone, the plot and what can happen is as fluid and ever changing as the sea. And as harsh and un-tamable as a sea goddess who may yet be restored...

In the middle of the sea not far from the equator there lies an island. Untouched by the rest of the world. Its natural ocupants are decendants that have evolved though time for millions of years. Which vairy from the mountains goats to the sea iguanas that crawl over the rocks on the beaches. It is governed by no more and no less than ten immortals. There are the leaders Antiau and Morkal. Antiau the goddess of the skies and heaven. Morkal the god of the earth and underworld. The other eight are split into elements. Fire. Earth. Air. Water. These immortal shape shifters, being shifters can come in any shape or form. Many claim they have seen these beings but many never really knew. For years they have lived along side each other in harmony, studying the ways and wills of mortals. Manipulating the mortals below to their own will, maybe spreading rumors and starting fights or helping love run its course. Who knows, only the gods of course. The good times have now past though and the immortals are finding it boring to just cause minor things to happen. They are starting to fight amoung themselves. The different elements against each other. An earth immortal might annoy a fire immortal and before you know it a fire has broken out in a forest.
Around 200 years ago a cavalery war ship sailed off course as a tropical storm took hold of the sea. The waves soon grew and directed the ship in land towards the isle. Helpless against the reefs the war ship was soon crushed. Many beings died that day, humans and horses but a few horses managed to fight against the tides and find themselves safely on the beach. Out of the 1000 humans and near enough the same amount of horses, a meer 100 give or take survived. Their decendants still roam the Isle. The gods favoured these new creatures, liking their differences.
Changing of the Winds ;;
A new chapter is about to start, a change of the winds. War will soon be breaking out in Untouched Isle. The high goddess, Antiau, is heavily pregnant with her offspring. Unable to look after her youngling, she will have to make her youngling become just one form and condem her to life on earth. Will the young demi god live? Many of the immortals have gotten jealous, over the centurys, of each other. Each element wanting more power than the other. Antiau and Morkal with their own problems, are trying to calm the situation but seem to be failing. The high immortals can see the mortals within each elemental land showing the same irritation to wards each other. War is soon to break out between the four lands. Although it will not just be the stags who pick fights with each other between terrains, faes also, even younglings seem more aggressive than they should be.
Main types of creatures involved: Horses and immortals RP levels accepted: All (although minimum wordcount is 100) Requirements: None Activity: Active Other: --

Desires End Drive « Result #8 on Feb 2, 2008, 8:43pm »
Desire's End is a town where creatures of the night as well as mortals co-exist. It's a town where once you've gotten in you can never leave. Thanks to an ancient curse placed on the land anybody who finds their way on to this cursed land is stuck here til the day they die, which in some cases is an eternity.
Thanks to the End twins everybody living in Desire's End get along for the most part. Oh sure there are the occasional fights and small wars among the citizens but people would rather not deal with the twins wrath so fights never last long.
However recently a newcomer to the town has decided that he wants to be the one to rule the town. He's older the twins and feels that they are far too lax in their laws and dealings. He believes the town should be ruled by an iron hand and he's determined to do what it takes to get that power. Will you support the twins and help keep Desire's End running as it has been for nearly five thousand years or will you support this newcomer in his quest for power by trying to dethrone the twins and all they stand for?
(Site has been completely revamped and just reopened. Plenty of canons available and originals are always welcome)

Anya had everything they would need in her little nap sack. She followed after Reli. She ran onto deck and looked around. They were far enough away from the port to be noticed but close enough to get what they needed and leave. Anya glanced about and saw the hospital off to the distance. "Alright," Anya began she handed Reli a gun. "Try not use this," Anya instructed. She looked over the land and then started off the ship.

Re: Sick Bay « Result #10 on Feb 2, 2008, 1:34pm »
Quentin smiled and looked at the door. He looked back at Ariena and stood up. He walked around sick bay looking at the few things. He saw a wooden box on a shelf and took it down. The top was all dusty. He blew the dust off and opened it.
[OOC: To keep the RP going I was thinking of adding something to make the story more interesting. I was thinking of maybe do a little gothic fantasy twist. Like add some sort of ghost that possesses someone or something, but I don't know, and the box will be a key thing to bring that in.]
